Poon Hill Trek



Poon Hill Trekking is popular for the beautiful Landscape and Panoramic view of the mountain , beautiful rhododendrons forest walk and mixed community culture as well as traditional dress of Magar & Gurung community as well as provides splendid views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Fishtail, and other.The highlight of this trek is the visit to Poon Hill from where you can enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the whole Himalayan range and the surrounding rice terraces (a photographers paradise!). From the scenic village of Tikedungha, you will be transported back to Pokhara enjoying the last views of the majestic scenery. You will also be able to marvel at the gargantuan stature of the fish tail shaped Mt. Machhapuchhare (6900m). Ascending along the trail to Ghorapani, several varieties of colourful orchids are on show along with clear views of the towering expanse of Mt. Dhaulagiri I (8167m).

Itinerary


Day 01 : Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by our Airport Representative, and transfer to hotel. O/N at hotel. B.B.

Day 02 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara - 4-5 hours scenice drive by Private Car / van. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : One and half hours drive to Nayapul by private Car / Van, we then begin trek to Tikhedhunga. We begin our trek at Nayapul, driving to the road head. After 15- minutes short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1065m) a large village that has many shops & teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola.

From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1495m & after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1525m. This trek offers a short & relatively easy day, during journey & allows us to become used to the experience of trekking in Nepal.

Day 04 : Trek to Ghorepani
Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak & rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we make our trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an hour walk brings you to Ghorepani at 2775m.Overnight at Guest House.

Day 05 : Hiking to Poonhill - back to Ghorepani, and trek to Tadapani.
This morning, we will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Poon Hill. From here you will see superb view of sunrise, and panoramic view of Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and so on. After visiting Poonhill, we will come back to Ghorepani, take breakfast, and continue walking to Tadapani.Overnight at Guest House.

Day 06 : Trek to Ghandruk
The day starts with short down hill. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply through forests and then the trail eases as we reach Ghandrunk (2000m), which is the village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal, have their own dialect, typical culture, costume, and life style. This village is possibly the popular tourist destination that offers the beautiful mountain views and having easy connection with Pokhara or Kathmandu.Overnight at Guest House.

Day 07 : Trek down to Birethanti - Nayapul - Pokhara.
Today we begin our journey, from Ghandrung offering easy walking all down hill to Nayapul, we then drive to Pokhara.Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Drive back to Kathmandu by car / van. O/N at hotel. B.B.

Day 09 : Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley world heritage sites :(Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhu, and Kathmandu durbar square). Fare well dinner with cultural programs. O/N at hotel. B.B.

Day 10 : Transfer to Airport for your onward Journey. Program end.



Gokyo Trek



The trek to Gokyo trelkking provides an excellent opportunity to see an beautiful view of the Mt. Everest at close range. This trek is to be considered as an alternative trek to the traditional Everest Base Camp trek that offers magnificent views of the mountain peaks and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest in the Nepal Himalayas. One of the most remarkable feature of the trek is the view of tremendous ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung (2922m) located in Khumbu region.You can also see view of the most popular mountains in Nepal , at an altitude of 8000m including Cho Oyu , Everest, Lhotse and Makalu which are clearly visible from GokyoRi(5483m.) above Gokyo Lake .

Itinerary

Day 01 : Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by our Airport Representative, and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel. B.B.

Day 02 : Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley (Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhu, and Kathmandu durbar square). Overnight at hotel. B.B.

Day 03 : Morning drive to Tribhuwan International Airport and 30 minutes flight to Lukla(2804 m.) and trek to Phakding (2610 m.). O/N at Guest House.

Day 04 : Trek to Namche Bazar (3535 m). Overnight at Guest House.

Day 05 : Namche Bazar - Acclimatization day. Overnight at Guest House.
Today we hike up the Syanboche Airport, and around Everest View Hotel great views of the Mt. everest, Kwngde, Thamserku, Amadablam and Nuptse..

From this point, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise or sunset over the panorama of the Khumbu peaks. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 06 : Trek to Phorste Tenga (3675m). Overnight at Guest House.

Day 07 : Trek to Machherma (4470m). Day walk though the alpine rhododendron forest but cross the forest line before you reach to your lodge. O/N at Guest House.

Day 08 : Trek to Gokyo (4790m). Overnight at Guest House.

Day 09 : This day early in the morning we have steep climb up to the top of Gokyo Ri (5483m) ample rewards to one attempts this trip. Massive view of the Mt. Cho-U, it’s glacier and the top of the Mt. Everest above his half body.

There are stunning views of the supper Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an incredible panoramic view of the whole Khumbu Himalayas, such as giants as Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu (8481m), Cho-Oyu (8153m) and Gychung Kang (7922m) can be seen.

Day 10 : Day trip to 4th Lake (4843m) & 5th lake - 4998m (north of Gokyo Valley), and back to Gokyo Lake. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 11 : Trek back to Dole. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 12 : Trek to Khumjung village, big settlement of Sherpa people..

Day 13 : Trek back to Phakding.

Day 14 : Trek back to Lukla. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 15 : Morning flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Overnight at hotel. B.B.

Day 16 : Leisure day in Kathmandu (it's also spare day incase of bad weather in Lukla).

Day 17 : Transfer to Airport for your home departure. Farewell !!

Round Annapurna Trek


Annapurna region is one of the best trekking destination of Nepal. This treks rounds 3 weeks starts right from Besishahar and goes along the Marshyangdi River, with the great view of Manashlu and Himal Chuli to the east.
